I am currently serving as a Consultant in Pain Medicine at Fortis Hospital Kolkata and Samobathi Pain Clinic Kolkata. After earning my MD, I completed a Fellowship in Pain Management and hold FIPP certification from the World Institute of Pain. I currently serve as the Registrar of the Indian Society for the Study of Pain and Vice President of the International Society for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain.

Throughout my career, I have received multiple accolades, including Honors in Ophthalmology, first place in the Anesthesia Quiz Competition at the UP Uttarakhand ISACON in 2009, and the Pain Ambassador Award in 2019.

My published work includes co-authoring Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine (1st edition) and Basics of Pain Management (3rd edition), as well as contributing to PRP guidelines for knee osteoarthritis specific to the Indian population. I am also a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Pain, the official publication of the Indian Society for the Study of Pain.

I have organized several CME programs on Interventional Pain Management, covering topics such as "Depomedrol in Pain Management," low back pain, and neuropathic pain. My involvement in national events includes serving as the LOC member and workshop coordinator for the 1st World Symposium of the WIP Foundation in 2013, focusing on “Global Pain Suffering and Solutions for Eradication,” as well as the Organizing Secretary for ICRA for two consecutive years and WBISSPCON 2021.

Most recently, I was the Scientific Secretary for the International Conference on Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain, held in Bengaluru from March 31 to April 4, 2023.

With numerous publications and extensive experience as a speaker at national and international conferences, I also contribute as a faculty member for the Aesculap Academy's Basic and Advanced Online Pain Management Courses and the Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. My teaching experience spans online courses, hands-on workshops, and cadaveric workshops, where I provide specialized training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and pain management.
