Terms & Conditions for Asian Pain Academy Pain Management Courses

Welcome to the Asian Pain Academy. By enrolling in our pain management courses, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a quality learning experience and maintain a respectful educational environment for all participants.

1. Course Enrollment and Eligibility​
  • Participants must meet the specified eligibility requirements for each course. These requirements vary depending on the course level (beginner, advanced, fellowship, etc.).

  • All applications are subject to review and approval by the Asian Pain Academy.

2. Fees and Payments
  • Course fees must be paid in full before the start date, as specified in the course details. Fees are non-refundable unless specified otherwise in our refund policy.

  • For workshops and fellowships, a non-refundable deposit may be required upon acceptance to reserve a spot in the program.

  • If a participant fails to attend without prior written notice, course fees will not be refunded or credited.

3. Cancellations and Refund Policy

4. Attendance and Participation
  • Full attendance is required for certification. Missing more than a specified percentage of sessions, as stated in course requirements, may result in ineligibility for certification.

  • Active participation in all hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and interactive learning modules is expected for all participants.

5. Certificate of Completion
  • Certificates are issued to participants who successfully complete all requirements of the course. The criteria for completion include attendance, assessments, and active engagement.

  • Certification does not imply competency in performing clinical procedures independently and is intended as a demonstration of course completion only.

6. Intellectual Property
  • All course materials, including videos, presentations, and written content, are the intellectual property of the Asian Pain Academy. Unauthorized distribution, recording, or duplication of any course content is strictly prohibited.

  • Participants are granted access to course materials solely for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Code of Conduct
  • Respectful behavior and professionalism are expected from all participants. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate dismissal from the course without a refund.

  • The Academy reserves the right to remove any participant from a course if their behavior is deemed unprofessional or harmful to others.

8. Limitation of Liability
  • The Asian Pain Academy and its instructors are not liable for any injuries or damages arising from the use of techniques learned in the course.

  • The Academy provides educational services only; it is the responsibility of participants to ensure any clinical applications are conducted according to local regulations and clinical guidelines.

9. Use of Personal Data
  • By enrolling, participants consent to the use of their data for administrative and educational purposes, including communication regarding the course, certifications, and feedback surveys.

  • Personal information will be handled per our privacy policy and not shared with third parties without consent.

10. Course Modifications and Updates
  • The Asian Pain Academy reserves the right to change course content, instructors, schedules, or venues if necessary. Participants will be informed of any significant changes in advance.

  • The Academy may update these Terms and Conditions periodically, and participants will be notified of any significant changes.

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be resolved under Kolkata jurisdiction.
